Fairweather Friends

“But we just talk about the people we’ve met in the last five years
And will we remember them in ten more?”- Ben Gibbard

It’s a time to figure this. People these days seem so so more distant because of all of this technology growing. I love the material, but it always seperates us furthur. Thinking we’re gonna always keep in touch or Myspace or on the cell, but then we suddenly stop and go on with a bunch of other people that we’ll be lucky if we know for two months.

My brother, Jamal’s mom always say to always keep the close friends close. I think i’m achieving that. This year makes about 4 years i’ve known J and we’re about to become roomates, so that evidently will make a longlasting friendship. Others seem to fade though as ominous signs occur. I thank God for that though. That just leaves more unimportant people out of my life. All I need are close family, my actual best friends and my girlfriend. I’ll be fine.
